REFERENCE POLICY
The Amistad Research Center welcomes reference questions about our holdings and services. Due to the volume of reference requests we receive, staff members can only devote a half-hour to each question. We will be happy to answer short factual questions and provide information on the types of materials and subjects in our holdings and how best to access them. Staff will make every effort to answer each question within one week. If this is not possible, you will be notified within three days. Information submitted will be kept confidential. It will be used to assist us in answering your question and for in-house statistical purposes only.
